Facebook is facing a civil lawsuit following a recent virus outbreak on the network. Theodore Karantsalis of Miami Springs, Florida is apparently suing Facebook, alleging that the site failed in its “legal duty to exercise at least reasonable care with regard to the safety of its network”.

A long running legal dispute over the term “Facebook” has now been resolved.

The government of Iran has blocked access to Facebook in what’s widely considered to be a political move. Facebook has been added to the Iranian block list in advance of the presidential elections next month.
